I wanted to finish up a few other Tibi inspirations that I love, in particular, the shift dress. The shift dress is an awesome and easy option that has its origins in the "Mod Era", which started in the 50's and peaked in the 60s. With all the bang wearing, Zoe Deschanel-wanna-be hipsters out there, it's no surprise the shift dress is still a popular option today. The simplicity means you can accessorize it up, or stick with the my-name-is-gwyneth-paltrow-and-I-only-eat-vegan elitist austerism. Plus, it's a clever option when you're not feeling at your "skin tight dress best" to still attract some shifty glances of jealousy and admiration. Essentially, the shift dress embodies one of key purposes of fashion, DECEPTION...mwhahaha (self expression being the other one). So deceive away my little Gwyneths!

Tibi has a few cute options that point out two different ways to work the shift dress. Either stick to neutral tones and add bright accessories, like a bright jacket or shoes, OR, wear a simple shift dress in a bold color.

Now the more affordable options- I've found ASOS to have the best selection thus far. I included the dresses with the most sizes still available, but it's worth checking www.us.asos.com out for some of their other designs.
