Tibi Inspirations: Stripes & Lace

They always say mimicry is the highest form of flattery, and mimicry at a cheaper price is just genius. So here are two more Tibi alternatives.

I love this first one, because it mixes stripes and lace together with the contrast of black and white. There's something about the silk screen printing of lace that I think is so cool, mostly because I feel like I could totally do this myself and start making my own clothes (maybe, when I actually have free time). So it's hard to pay for $300+ for something I could feasible make in my garage. Lucky for me, I can save some time because Charlotte Russe copied Tibi's idea. I know, who knew that Charlotte Russe, of all stores, had enough taste to do this? Shocked the hell out of me as well, but I appreciate the effort. Plus, now I can afford an aggressive pair of heels to rock with this outfit.

Another big trend this season is nude colors. It seems a bit contradictory that both bright colors AND neutrals are trends in the same season. But look at it this way, no one looks good in nude/beige/bone/cream/ivory unless you are a glistening tan Nubian goddess. But pairing neutrals with brights is a genius way to pull both off at the same time. For example with this Tibi nude lace dress, I'd definitely pair it wight a bright cardigan, a bright statement necklace, and/or a bright colored pair of heels.
