Jungle Fever

 

It's not surprising that a love of metallic items can translate into a love of all things that are loud and give you presence. Thus, it's only natural that I've adopted a liking for the tribal prints that started popping up in the 2009 and 2010 fashion lines. My major inspirations are Robert Cavalli and DVF (seen above). I think the prints have the potential to be funky, as loud or subtle as you want, and they look good on just about anyone. My favorite item to fall along these lines, is an anthropologie skirt that is now available in their spring 2011 line. It's a bit of a splurge at $128, but I've yet to find anything the gets it right quite like this does.
