Maternity Mishaps

During my usual forms of procrastination, I couldn't help but notice that may flowers aren't the only thing about to be in bloom...Now I don't know a whole lot about pregnancy from a personal experience, but as a passive bystander, I can point out some very clear ways to rock and not rock a baby bump...

1. Looking "happy" is generally a good start, and wearing cute clothes that fit

Natalie Portman

2. You can even pull off a tighter dress and pair it with some heels

Very well played, Tina Fey

3. Wearing clothes that are not your husband's hands are generally a good start if you don't have a stylist like the ladies featured above. The best part about this is that Mariah Carey is actually OLDER (even with the two different birthdays that wikipedia has for her) than Tina Fey...I guess wisdom and taste doesn't always come with age.

4. It's okay to actually have a baby bump, you know, when people already know you are pregnant

Posh Spice

5. It's generally a bad idea to show off a baby bump when people don't really know if you are pregnant and don't really know if you are dating a man twice your age. Pairing a potential baby bump with flipper shoes might always make people wonder if you are a platypus.

Scar Jo... big NO
