Cargo Chic

So as I mentioned yesterday, there are three pant options this summer, so I figured I should probably talk about the other ones in case you are not an MC hammer affectionado/suck at doing the MC hammer dance (much harder to mimic that one may realize). So cargo pants are option numero dos, which instantly made me reminisce about the old christina aguilera orange cargo pants- so even though I hated the idea of baggy cargo pants, I do love an opportunity to youtube old 90's music videos.

So the trend now is a "skinny cargo"- which sounds in theory like a total disaster- skinny legs with huge cargo pockets awkwardly hanging off the side, can someone say saddle bags? But there are a few that are pretty cute, and even flattering. I feel like there are a few ways to play this- either rock the full skinny cargo look, stick to a more streamlined military green colored khaki pant and roll up the bottom, or go with a military colored streamlined version of the pseud-MC hammer pant (as seen below on ms. victoria beckham)
